7 Days of Freedom, Day 7: Serve

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Galatians 5: 13 serve [surv] verb to act as a servant to render assistance; be of use; help to have definite use to render active service to to perform the […]

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 7 Days of Freedom, Day 4: Glory Hallelujah!

16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory […]

Hello, everyone! Caregiver question:
I have a question for you all today. I am looking to interview 5 to 10 people to gather information for a book I am writing. The book will be for people who are caretakers for their loved ones. I have been through 5 major illnesses in my own family and can speak to processes/needs that will help caretakers, but I would like to talk to more people than just myself!
I am looking to interview people who are or have been caretakers of loved ones due to a chronic illness, ongoing end-of-life situations, or a serious acute situation such as car accidents, injuries, babies born with defects/ chromosome issues, and the like.
If that person is you or you know a caretaker who would consent to be interviewed, can you message me or respond to this post? You don't need to put your contact info in this post, just indicate that you are interested, and I will contact you.
Thank you so much!

Psalm 23 Remix

July 9, 2020 By MaryK Leave a Comment

Psalm 23 is one of the the most well-known parts of the Bible. People who do not claim to be religious can quote parts of Psalm 23. Christians have become so familiar with this beloved psalm we almost cease to hear it. What we need is a Psalm 23 remix- a fresh look at an […]

Lent

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. As a child, I remember the solemn mass of Ash Wednesday and being anointed with ashes in the sign of the cross on my forehead. As an adult, I attend a Protestant church, but I’ve always loved the traditional church calendar recognized by the Catholic Church. There[Read More…]
